Dr. Sylvia Choy had received her optometric degree from State University of New York College of Optometry.  Prior to that, she had studied classical music in her undergraduate years at Binghamton University where she enjoyed performing as the pianist for the university orchestra.  As a young child who wore glasses at the age of six, she had always been curious and interested in the eyes and the visual system, and this ultimately led her to pursue optometry.  She is delighted to be able to make a positive impact on others’ vision every day!  Her training included ocular disease externships at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center in New Haven, CT and low vision rehabilitation at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Northport, NY.  She is also experienced in the fitting of specialty lenses: Ortho-Keratology CRT (Corneal Reshaping Therapy) for myopia management, RGPs, and scleral lenses as well.  Concierge Eyecare: Bringing the exam to you!
